  • Riverdell Therapy and Wellness provides services to adults (18+ and Seniors). Our services include individual psychotherapy and mindfulness based interventions.

  • We specialize in depression, anxiety (including general anxiety and social anxiety) , adjustment disorders, grief and loss (including prolonged grief disorder), issues related to dealing with complex, chronic medical conditions, life transitions, caregiver stress, career burnout, compassion fatigue and other stress-related concerns.

  • Our approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I also draw from narrative and meaning-centered perspectives to help people make sense of life experiences, clarify what matters most to them and move forward with greater flexibility and purpose.

  • During your first session, we’ll discuss your reasons for seeking counseling, review your background and any previous experience with therapy, discuss a treatment plan and begin setting goals for therapy. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit to work together.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients benefit from short-term counseling (6–12 sessions), while others may engage in longer-term therapy for continued personal growth and support.

  • Yes! We offer both in-person and secure virtual sessions for clients who prefer the convenience and comfort of online counseling.
