Fees & Payment

Individual psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes in length.
The private pay rate is $125 per session. A limited number of sessions may be available on a sliding-fee scale. 

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Accepted forms of payment will be communicated during intake.

Insurance

While we are currently working on our insurance contracts with Medicare and other providers, we do not currently accept insurance.

Private Pay & Superbills

For clients who wish to use insurance, we are considered an out-of-network provider.

  • Clients are responsible for the full session fee at the time of service.

  • Upon request, we will provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that clients may submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Please note:

  • Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the client’s individual plan.

  • Clients are responsible for verifying their out-of-network mental health benefits, including deductible requirements and reimbursement rates.

  • Payment is the client’s responsibility regardless of insurance reimbursement outcomes.

Diagnoses & Insurance Reimbursement

Insurance companies typically require a mental health diagnosis to consider reimbursement for services. When a superbill is provided, a diagnosis code may be included as required by insurance carriers.

If you have questions or concerns about diagnoses or reimbursement, these can be discussed during the consent or intake process.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a $50 fee.

  • Insurance does not reimburse for missed or late-cancelled sessions, and clients are responsible for any applicable charges.
